I am at the Opener in St. Petersburg every year. I went to the Houston race last year and the weather was hilarious for car racing...they had to install special coolers so the drivers didn't spontaneously explode while driving in the oppressive heat.

Margin of error, you have the writing skills. I've been working on a sort of big indy post since noV. It's only half done but it's really dry. I would be much obliged if there was a way I could get you to give it a once over as I spent hours on it and would rather have more than 6 people read it. Let me know if that would be possible.

Hundreds of photos. I had a friend who is an amateur photographer and had some great shots. He didn't attend the last 2 years, so everything I have is dated or on my android phone. I can send some after the event.

First race was good. I am sunburned!

In typical fashion, Chevy and Penske were dominant. Sato and Rahal being the only Hondas that seemed to have any speed. The track record was smashed...Will Power almost made it around the course in under a minute during Qualifying.

As for the Aero kits. They looked really cool...and then looked like awesome tire cutters across the track. They basically exploded if someone even brushed them. There were multiple yellow flags as the crews had to go pick up pieces of aero kits after almost every restart. A few drivers went through a couple noses. A few times the drivers just didn't replace their nose if part of the kit came off. Sage, Power and Pageneau all had damaged noses for most of the race.
